P R O G R E S S P A I N T I N G S .

Here is a sketch of a painting that I'm setting up.  It's gonna be 30 x 48 inches done in oil for a scholarship series.  Hopefully all goes well.

Info: The point of this painting was to conceptualize and illustrate random words or phrases in my head.  This time it was "Big Bang."  I eventually thought of an orchestra or a concert show; all of the musicians sitting anxiously behind the stage curtain eagerly awaiting their cue to play.  And when that moment comes, the curtains unveil the "Big Bang" of musicians and their instruments, all together playing up a storm.

Sketch of "Big Bang": 3.3 x 5.3 inches.
