"The Killers"

I made this comic book spread based on "The Killers," a short story written by Ernest Hemingway. It's about a man named Ole who waits for his imminent death for supposedly double-crossing a group of notorious gangsters in Chicago. The characters in the comic below are the ones who tried to warn Ole, but were insistently shrugged off and are now confused by this man's ill-will for life.

    Thanks Pavin, yeah they were for my midterm for Narrative Structure. Jim Brumfield had us illustrate one scene from Hemingway's short story, "The Killers"

    NIce! Disney references a lot of story points from Hemingway in their Disney Storyboard Workbook!
